    Accessibilty on PC

I need to change my online settings to be able to play with friends that are on Xbox from my pc, but whenever I click the link that says go to privacy settings, I get sent to the same support page, even when clicking the Xbox settings in that page
I just get directed back to the same exact thing. Is there a way to fix this? I face
time with a friend and saw videos of people not having this issue at all.

    :)

Thanks for the reply, but I seem to keep having the same issue. When I go to the top corner to go to my Xbox profile it brings me back to the same Xbox website. Closing the page and restarting the process keeps giving me the same result.

    Hello JH,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. What page are you redirected to on support? Reason I ask is if it is for changing child privacy settings or just change privacy settings. Here is a guide to help change for you on a PC.

    1. You will go to the Xbox websiteand sign in.

    2. Once signed in, click your picture top right corner go to Xbox profile.

    3. Click on privacy settings.

    4. Once in settings, under the picture see Privacy, Xbox One/Windows 10 online safety. Select the Xbox one/Windows 10 online safety.

    5. You will see you gamertag you are looking for one setting:

    6. The two you want to make sure say allow and everybody are:
      1. "you can play with people outside of Xbox live" set to allow

      2. Now click on privacy you are looking for one setting:

"you can communicate outside of Xbox live with voice and text" set to allow

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Brad

If you check the accessibilty tab, you will find a plethora of options that can help. I have had issues in the oast and know where youre coming from

It is against the terms and contitions and I think is the sort of thing that should brick your console. You should have to prove yourself unable to play with a controller and this sort of thing should be licenced as an accessibilty feature.

    Hi MaiclE93,

Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums for assistance. I'd be happy to help.

I recommend removing and re-adding your profile from the Xbox to re-sync your account data.

It’s easy to remove any Microsoft account from an Xbox One console, because you don’t have to sign in to the account. Here’s how:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select System > Settings > Account
      > Remove accounts.
    3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.
    4. When you're finished, select Close.

You can add your Microsoft account to any Xbox One console. Here's how:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select
      Add new.
    3. Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that you want to add, and then select
      Enter.

Important Make sure that you do not select
      Get a new account
, unless that’s what you want to do. If you select this, you will create a brand-new Microsoft account.

If you’ve forgotten which email address is associated with your Microsoft account, see the

      Lost Account Solution
      .
    4. Enter the password for your Microsoft account that you want to add, and then select
      Enter.
    5. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select
      I Accept
      .
    6. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox One console.
Let us know if that helped!
