Accessibility when NOT Signed In

Why when not signed in with any of the accounts for the xbox one is it still possible to access settings - I can see accounts and delete, reset the device just to name a few big ones - if Microsoft require every user of the device to have an associated Microsoft
email account then why not have a the sign in screen the only accessible feature when the device is NOT signed in - scenario: my xbox one is stolen people can then access the settings without the need to sign in ridiculous - yes I have set up pin options on
the older members of my family - but my junior members do not require the pin however I have blocked the majority of settings

So i preordered BattleField V and downloaded the beta today but for some reason it says I do not have early acces what do I need to do to fix this problem???!!!

For various troubleshooting reasons you might need the console to operate even if you can't sign anyone in. And yes if someone stole your Xbox they can access the settings and factory reset it, but if you have a password set up they can't access your private
information.

Same goes for any electronic device, if it's stolen it can be reset and used as new. It's both a safety measure if the user lost their password so that they can still use their device with a reset but at the same time it can be a curse because people can
just reset it.

If your Xbox has been stolen please make sure to change your password.

so I f I loose my phone or it gets stolen, it is tied to an email account, factory resetting still requires you to authenticate to the email account associated with the device

also as I need to associate my xbox to a required email account with Microsoft then Microsoft should enforce security via the email account or if supplied other means by sending a pin that needs to be entered within a specific time frame to initiate the
process

I had the same problem the day I bought the game.

Then I played for a day or two(online and single) not using the autolog.

I pushed the autolog and it worked.....spooky. hell if I know why but it just worked.

Sorry to see any confusion surrounding promotions! This promotion takes 7-10 days before it's sent to customers through the Xbox Live messaging system, as long as customers purchased Gold through the promotion itself; any prepaid Gold codes redeemed would
not qualify for this promotion.
