Accessability 2: all digital mide remappping

A particular issue with their Sega Genesis collection that you can't play a true Genesis game in a true genesis formation which is two rows of three buttons each.

The main reason why you can't at a fight stick is because most fights sticks have LT and RT next to each other.

And unfortunately you cannot swap out LT and RT and put in other buttons because by definition those are analog and those must stay where they are for everything to work right.

When I wrote to Sega about this and I told them can't do this on my own with the Xbox OS every time I wrote to them they either said sorry we don't accept games or thank you with no firm purpose of actually believing that an arrangement of three rows of two buttons is important for Sega Genesis games.

And isn't the whole point of the Xbox joystick OS is do things that the developers and publishers are either to a busy with or short-sighted with?

That's why I suggest Xbox have a checkbox known as all digital mode which lets the LT and RT be freely remember with all the other buttons.

Obviously games that need an analog LT or RT will that be included in this list but any game where an LT or RT is a button just like any other, that should be an option turned on.

I wrote about this many times since the Sega Genesis collection came out for the Xbox One. There are ways to fix it on the Nintendo switch I believe. Mainly because all buttons are digital and all map to the same basic path

I habe and i did again but im not sure if there is anything ...there doesn't seem to be quality mide or performance mode

I see your point but I mean I want buttons to be remappable in general. Not sure who that really falls on the game dev or the company designing the console. I only want certain buttons remapped on certain games so I'm more inclined to put the responsibility
on the game dev, but some native remapping isn't exactly a horrible plan either.

That's why you can download the Xbox Accesories App for the One and remap controllers. Micorsot thought of a lot of situations.

But not every one It is an incomplete mapping system. I found 2 flaws. One is x-axis flipping, and the other is triggers only being remapped to triggers when an "all digital / Fight stick" mode is needed to complete the Accessories App OS remapping situation.

Since Microsoft tok it upon themseves to make their controlelrs all remappable, these are extra features that can be downloaded.

It is most likely a controller, remote, other periphreal or Smartglass that is activating by accident. Ensure there are none of these miding under a sofa cushion.

There are only 2 predefined settings that are uneditable on Sge Genesis Classics, and I was under the default control scheme in the Xbox 1 Joystick OS.

If this is the fight stick arrangement, and assuming buttons and triggers are not cross mappable:

Becuase the triggers are only swappable with each other and are always > and <, ut’s impossible to remap to get this:

Even with the Xbox One Joystick OS

The only way you can do it is to make an "all digital mode" where the triggers are remappable as digital buttons both to and from the triggers.

Also what about the flip X axis on analog sticks?
