Access to Xbox One Preview Program Just Got More Difficult

Xboxones Preview Program, which lets users test new features and functionality before they are released publicly, is nearing capacity. As such, Microsoft has announced that it is scaling back the volume of invitations it sends to join the private, invite-only
program.

I always thought there must be a limit. If everyone had it, its no longer a preview.

Being in the Preview Program is exactly why your Xbox is acting weird. The preview program is essentially beta-testing for the next firmware release, and bugs are to be expected and reported.

You should have access to a private forum for Preview Program members. They can offer you more specialized help.

To clarify, are you in the Xbox One Preview program or the Xbox 360 Preview program? To gain access to the Preview Forums for Xbox One, you'd need to be invited and accepted into that program.

 

It was bound to happen with everyone who wanted in just to have backwards compatibility early instead of waiting for the feature to be released to the public.

If only those poor souls haven't sold their 360s.

 

Good news or bad news, I'm not so sure, haha.

Maybe I should quickly go accept my invite? Hmm... Nah, I've been happy to wait.

 

I love new updates on anything. Xbox/Smartglass/Iphone/Mac. The wait for the new dash and cortana is killing me!!

I have received invites but never accepted them. Knowing my luck, if there was bugs in something they rolled out I would be affected the most lol

So I'll let other good folks test it out for me and wait until it releases for everyone ;-)
