Access to the livebox 2 usb port

Hello.

I would like to use my xbox one to read musics and videos from the external drive plugged to my livebox 2 by usb. But I don't know how, when I use the application video or music, nothing appears exept online music or video.

Is it possible to use the usb port of my livebox to read things on my xbox ? I know that the xbox 360 can do it.

Is there a file exporator on xbox one to help me find the HD ? On my computer, the HD is visible using the livebox network.

USB ports

Front USB ports are a great idea for convenience. It's there out in front with quick access. I rarely use my rare USB ports on my Slim 360 console because I have to make the effort to face the back of the console. I might be wrong but last time I checked
PS4 had only 2 USB ports where as Xbox One has 3. Still, the Slim 360 has FIVE USB ports.

Random disconnects and other issues

I am having the same issue, I tries opening ports on my livebox to no avail, also those public DNS addresses, nothing seems to work

Hi, on the Xbox store there should be an app called "Media Player".

If detects some USB devices and drives connected to the Xbox, and can browse them for playable content, such as music and pictures. I would suggest trying this app if you haven't already.

Thank you, it works, I didn't think about a version of media player in the xbox ^^

So I can use my computer data and all devices linked to my local network, it's very usefull.

I still say we need USB 3 ports for controllers.If you don't know,the 360 uses USB 2 ports,USB 3 ports are backward compatible,to where you can use a USB 3 controller,or a USB 2 controller.So if you have an arcade fight controller that has a USB 2 plug,
you could use that controller on the 720 if it had USB 3 ports.
