Access to Deals with Gold

Discus and support Access to Deals with Gold in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; In our Xbox One we have 2 account, one adult account with payment enabled and the second one kid account with a Gold membership active.     Access to Deals with Gold


    In our Xbox One we have 2 account, one adult account with payment enabled and the second one kid account with a Gold membership active. The problem is that we can't buy the Deals with Gold visible from the kid's account. Can we have any solution or the only
    one is to activate a second Gold subscription?

    Gold status

    Trials do not flag you as gold.

    They simply allow you access to a selection of Gold Features (excluding games with gold/deals with gold)

    Difference of Xbox Live Gold Membership and Xbox Live

    A gold subscription allows you to play online multiplayer and access Games with Gold and Deals with Gold offers. If you don't pay with gold you have a Free (or Silver) account. You can still sign into Live to purchase content and access apps, but you can't
    play online or access gold discounts.

    it should work when you enable your kid account to download "anything" instead of "free Content only", ofcourse you could Change it back to free only after you acquired your desired game.

    you can do this when your adult account is signed in, then Access Settings, and on the right side you can find Family options

    I can try, but i have to add a credit card to the kid account, what i doesn't wanted.

    You may add the credit card to the kid account and have the games downloaded, then toggle the download settings back to only free content until you need them again for other purchases.

    Please allow me a different question:

    Why not having the adult account with a gold membership enabled and the payment option and then have the kid added as "family"? So both accounts are on the same gold subscription (you only need one subscription for this!) and the adult is able to download
    the games then. They can be installed by and to any family member on this particular xbox then.

    Or is it just about having the games registered to each account separately?

    The activation of the gold membership on the kid account was an error redeeming the code, sure we do different next year. Thanks.

    Xbox live gold on child account

    Only the account that has purchased gold can access gold deals. Since the child account would have access to gold because you are sharing it with them, they would not have access to gold deals. You can purchase the games on your account and they can access
    them on theirs or you would need to add gold to their account.
