    Gold on 360 and One

    I don't think it will work. Whoever has the One gold account can access 360 gold but the rest of the family will only be gold on the One.

    First time use/setup

    Hi. I've bought a day one edition for my boys a surprise for Xmas but not had a chance to test it yet. Because one of my lads already has a 360 in his room with his own gold account, I am going to set up the xbox One with his as the primary account fir the gold access as that way we can use the same gold account on his 360 and the shared Xbox one.

    However, if I set the Xbox one up late one night presumably I will have to add the primary/gold account that it will use (I.e my son's) as part of the initial set up . Then I'll try it with one of the games. So by doing this, when he next uses his 360 will he see that his account had been used on an Xbox one? Obviously I don't want him to suspect there is an Xbox one in the house!!!

    I need help! My game can't connect to the LIVE.

    You need to have an actual Gold account to play games online. Some games will not grant you access with a gold trial, as these generally allow you access to Xbox 360 Gold account perks (ie. Netflix, Free Games (Happy Wars) etc).

    The Xbox One only requires that 1 account have Gold in order for other accounts to have access to Gold privileges. On the Xbox 360 each account needs a Gold subscription. This past weekend was a free Gold weekend which meant any Xbox Live account could
    play multiplayer and that is why your son was able to play. If he wishes to play multiplayer on the 360 he will need a Gold subscription.

    If you add gold to the account that is using the 360 and have that account sign into the One and set it as their Home console, the other account would be able to access the gold on the One while the first account plays on the 360.

    She would only have access to gold features on xbox one. You cannot login to the same account on multiple 360s

    You need a gold account to access multiplayer on the xbox 360,the gamertag your posting with is a silver account.You will need to buy a 1 month,3 month or 12 month gold sub.
