    Access Denied 0x80070005 when trying to Sign In


    I tried to join the Minecraft RTX beta, therefore downloaded the Xbox Insider Hub app from the Store.

    The download worked fine but as soon as I try to Sign In after launching the app I get Access Denied.

    Already tried "Get-AppxPackage" which helped a lot of people but no luck so far.

    Hi,

    Error code 0x80070005 is an access denied error. Did you take this other drive from a different PC or previous Windows install?

    Did you recently update your PC? This error can happen with a failed Windows Update. Type Troubleshoot into search and then click on Windows Update in the troubleshooting menu. Then follow the instructions when prompted.

    Also, if you do an internet search on "Access is denied(Exception from HRESULT:0x80070005)" you will find there a few causes for this. You might try that if the Windows Update troubleshooting doesn't work.
