    I am also having problems accepting terms and conditions when I try to log in on my account. When it asks for my parental account I enter everyone of my passwords I use typically, no success, so I try recovering the account but when I try to log into the
    contact email to reset the link, my provider (YAHOO) tells me the email doesn't exist. It couldn't of been deleted since I can still access my old email address I used to sign up to XBL with, it's just infuriating me; any help would be of sincere gratitude,

    Terms & Conditions parental accepting problems.

    whenever i try and enter my mums email adress and password it says incorrect email or password even though it is right because i am sure it is i have asked her and everything so i tried going onto xbox.com and trying but when i try there it does not say
    incorrect it just takes me back to the same page saying parental login every time i enter her password it takes me back to that page saying parental login required.

    Hey there, have your parent try to sign in at
    http://account.live.com     and if they are unable to sign in, have them reset the password using the reset information they have for their account.

    Can't xbox just get rid of the terms and conditions parents have to accept? Since the parents can already restrict the child account and the parents must of agreed with the terms and conditions by allowing their child to use xbox live and buying it for them.
    It would be so much better if they allowed the owner of the account (child account) to accept the conditions, after all it's their account.

    This is so messed up, i'm gonna get a ps4 instead of xbox one

    If you are prompted to accept the new Terms of Use on the console, then the parental email should be displayed as it asks that parental email to accept the new agreements. If you can see that email address, then
    go to the forgot password page and try resetting the password from there. If you are still not able to access the account after that, please fill out
    this account recovery form and wait to hear back from the accounts team. If that should happen to fail as well, then you will need to try contacting our phone team. Please let us now if these steps are able
    to help you regain access to your account. Thanks!

    If you sign in to xbox.com you can accept the terms on there as a child account. I'm part of a family pack even though I'm 22 and I have to log onto xbox.com to be able to accept those terms without one of my friend's accounts which is the parent. As far
    as promoting the account to an adult account, you will have to have that parent account to do it.
