    AC4 saved file missing!


    My gf was playing AC4 under her own Xbox Live profile. When she finished, I signed her out and then myself in (we didn't shut the console off in the middle of anything) and found that my profile only showed her saved game. Tried rebooting, making sure
    not to sign on as her, and found her saved game still there. Mine is just gone. Extremely disappointing since I had logged 40+ hours into the game.

    My achievements won't unlock all of a sudden.

    just noticed the 3 I was missing for ac4 unlocked.

    Same thing happened to me with my brother and I can't seem to find what's wrong. Very annoying.

    Assassins Creed IV Save Game Gone- Xbox One

    When I start the game, it takes me to the main menu and gives me the option of starting a new game. My last save point is gone because my save file is completely gone. I have tried deleting all of the profiles on my xbox that may have a save file on AC4.
    I have also tried rebooting the system. What else can I do?

    Console Freeze when playing AC 4

    Thanks for clarifying, Quotient! When you played on the two other, non-freezing consoles, did you use your profile and saved game? Let's give this a go, with the hard drive in:

    • Move your profile and AC4 save file onto a USB drive, then remove it from the console. Is the save file marked with a yellow "!" ?
    • Clear the cache, then restart the console.
    • Download your profile (don't move it back from the USB!)
    • Launch AC4 and start a new save on your hard drive.

    Don't plug in your USB drive throughout these steps. Let's see how the game runs with a fresh copy of your profile and a fresh save. Let us know the results!
