Ac2 save keeps deleting itself

As per description, Xbox One deleted by itself even though you are saving it. It's a kind of weird as it was not showing any error message. Let us check on this together and sort this out to assist your concern. However, before we proceed, we would like to ask few questions about it.

1. When did the problem start?
   
2. Was this happening to other games or for a particular game only?
   
3. If this was working before, any recent activity or changes prior to the problem?
   
4. What troubleshooting steps have your tried so far?
   
5. Have you updated system and device to the latest version?

Some games in Gamepass / Xbox (Beta) / whatever its called keep their saves in the same folder as the game itself and when you uninstall the game, it deletes all your saves without a warning.

Thanks for the reply. With
cloud save and game save on the Xbox. They only have one save for a profile. Then when the save is further it updates that save. Within some games you can have multiple saves but this doesn't work that way with the cloud unfortunately. Now lets look at
if it did save multiple cloud saves for each and every person and every game. The cloud would get to be very cluttered over time. As recently even clips have been removed by tons as there were tons that were saved but never viewed. In this case you will need
to start fresh, unless you did have it saved on previous version. This kind of thing also happens on PC's also when it gets corrupt or crashes by uncertain means. People lose data that is way more important than a game save.

Here is most likely why the game save became corrupt as the game wasn't shut down or left properly.

While you’re playing a game, your game save is cached locally on your console. When you exit the game, your game save is automatically moved to the cloud. You don’t need to do anything to make this happen (other than the two setup steps above).

Hi there,

Regrettably, if you have started up Minecraft and the save data/user settings have synced with Xbox Live, you will not be able to retrieve your saved world. If by chance, you imported the save from a previous version of Minecraft and is available to re-download,
you can do so in the menus.

Thats a flawed system or some kind of error that needs to be addressed. I should have the world saved to my hard drive and xbox lives cloud. Since when does saves disappear? Never have i seen this before. I can understand a corrupt file but this is ridiculous.

how was i suppose to avoid this?

My xbox shouldnt be able to just make a 140mb world disappear because it just wants to act like trash.
