AC Unity Won't Load (Digital Copy)

I purchased the digital copy of AC Unity on the release date and played it for a while without issue. I haven't played it in about a month now and am unable to load it. I get a message that says:

Installation is almost done

If you have a game disc, please insert it now. Otherwise, make sure the person who purchased this is signed in to Xbox Live, then choose Finish.

First, I am the person that purchased the AC Unity so the game and I am signed in so this is not the issue.

Next, when I "menu" button to the left of the Xbox button a list pops up and one of the selections is to Resume installation. When I press this, nothing happens.

I just tried to uninstall the game and again nothing happens.

I should mention that I purchased Destiny as a digital download and it is working fine.

Not really sure what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I bought the XBOX 1 AC Unity Bundle two weeks ago. I downloaded AC Blag Flag and so far the game works perfectly.

The other games don't play. I installed AC Unity and bought Resident Evil HD remaster and so far both of these games get stuck on the title screen. AC Unity won't load past the screen that says "This game saves automatically when you see this icon" and
Resident Evil HD Remaster always bounces me back to the dash after a few seconds. I also installed the Destiny trial version and that won't play either. All of my other apps work fine. It just seems to be an issue with digital games.

I've tried the hard reboot where I hold down the console button for ten seconds/unplug the power. I've tried the dashboard reset and I've tried the MAC clear and nothing has worked. I'm just about out of ideas. Any help/suggestions for this problem would be
greatly appreciated.

help/suggestions for this problem would be greatly appreciated.

 

Can you try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down? That should fix your problem.

 

Sadly this didn't work.

When I went to play the game again it gave me the same message; however, this time I was able to uninstall the game. I did.

I went to re-install the game and now the game doesn't appear in the "Ready to Install" screen at the end of all the games I've purchased.

This is frustrating.

Ok, that is odd. If the game is not showing up there then please head over to commerce.microsoft.com with the gamertag that originally purchased the game. Whether it is or is not listed there you should contact phone support for more assistance.
