AC power adapter of my XBOX 360 is not working

AC power adapter of my XBOX 360 is not working and trips the power of the whole house with a small explosive noise from inside the adapter. We have avoided using the device for more than 3 months now. I am in India and toll free number is not providing support
for this product and website doesnt have any help for customers in India. The websites designed for support are no help. The online service website doesn't even provide option of buying replacement for the power adapter or sending email. On the product website
it says that using any other power adapter may damage the product!! Please help in getting this sorted out.

USB headset locking up XBox 360

Solved the issue by not using the XBox to power the USB. I used a AC to USB Power Adapter and it's now working (not optimally, but working)

i have bought xbox 360 from usa ,and i am not from there

so i plug my xbox in power and it bomb

because it different power from usa

usa it 110v and my place is 220v

so my AC Adapter is damaged

my question is

can i buy AC Adapter 220v and connect to the xbox without any problem?

 

If the Service page does not provide you with an option to purchase a new plug for your console then you'll need to keep trying phone support until you get to speak with someone who can help you.

Where did you purchase the console? Was it in India or another country? If it was another country then you'll need to purchase a power adapter for the change in voltage which may be the reason you're having these issues.
