so why even bother? That's what I don't get. Outside of party chat it's 90% pointless noise, so it really doesn't even make sense to me.

 

every game needs to have a mute player option available.

 

Yes i agree these guys need the boot at least banned for a few days to teach them a lesson....

plus i'm sort of an entertainer. I like to try and entertain people. if not that then I try to help them because you don't really know who will heed your friendly advice. When I played tanks I would always act silly but give helpful advice. some people really
enjoyed it and some would just rant off and tell me to 'f* my dad' and such. so what, you mute avoid and go on your way. tell the sensable people in the game to do the same for a more enjoyable experience. I've had a ton of friendly mail due to me giving tips
and helping people out of tough situations. That's why bother!

 

It's the people who think they are entertaining I find the most annoying, because 99% of the time they aren't as entertaining as they think they are.

Met some good folk playing online but they tend to be few and far between to be honest. It isn't just a Live thing, never been on a network where the good folk outweighed the bad.

Not only did it turn people away from it they had to implement party chat just to get people to plug back in. I would say it's more than a few.

Why play MP games at all? They're fun. Using the mic is in short - not fun. We all have our opinions.
