abusive players , rude players , players coming on just to be idiots

why is it that players come into xbox live games just to stir harass and be fools , they play loud music leaving their mic's connected so no one can talk and act like general fools some players come into games just to betray people and yet the player being
betrayed a lot of the time the kicking out screen for betrayal

Abusive players will use anything to offend players. I don't believe this is bullying *as this is a full grown man* and I checked on his Wikipedia page and it's quite positive. My guess is that name might have been
somehow used to be rude/derogatory in some sort of manner...

 

Some Problem Players being verbally abusive and disrespectful

I was playing COD Advanced Warfare with my clan. We get put into a match with some good players, but they then proceeded to become verbally abusive to my clan and I. I understand some trash talk ok... but its gone to being rude and disrespectful which is
very offensive to me and my clan as gamers. I finally snapped back because these people are family to me so I had to say something. Please look into this so other people don't have to deal with rude and disrespectful players. These are the rude players:

So you've been playing Halo? Wait til you try any of the COD games In all honesty, you're better off sticking around with people from these forums.

 

People that act like that are generally ignored by their parents or their parents let their console be the babysitter. In other words, they were denied attention which in turn made them lack social skills. It's something that todays youth are lacking and
at an alarming rate.

 

You get the same thing on these Forums too.

But it's pretty easy to deal with these guys.

Especially on COD that has one of the fasted Quick Mute features in the West.

And Forza is great. There was a guy playing his music down the Mic and I pointed out to the lobby that we have the option to vote to kick players and he was gone faster than you could say "Eject".

Attention seekers crave attention in any shape or form.

Reward them for doing good.

Mute and ignore when they get it wrong.

 

The last time i played online was on mass effect 3, a guy was playing that had his music blasting and a screaming baby in the background.

I quit the game as i was sick of hearing it, and he actually sent me an abusive message asking why i and everyone he had played with that day kept quitting.

He was totally oblivious to what he was doing.

I told him exactly why, i never heard back.

 

In FIFA 15, you can play a drop-in match where it is you controlling one player with 11 other people all controlling individual players. It can be quite fun, but EA (for some reason?) decided not to add a "Mute All" button, so every game I hop into, I have
to hear idiots cursing and yelling offensive racial epithets. I'll quote Prince (lol) -- Act your age, not your shoe size.

 

It seems to be that audience. There's something wrong with most soccer fans heads.

 

Mute/avoid player is your friend Duck, your constant companion on LIVE . Most/all online MP titles will allow you to mute specific players in game, or you can set up your profiles online privacy/security setting to mute all but your friends list.

There are good people also so hopefully it has not put you off. You will find some like minded people to get on your friends list, then you can party up with them and LIVE becomes a lot more fun.

But yeah unfortunately you will run into reprobates sometimes, mute block and avoid is a winner . As far as why people do this?, it's beyond me.

That is the reason I stopped playing Gears of War on line. I'm a cold season player. I play from around November to March. Some players live to play and play all year round. They expect everyone to be close to their level. When they encounter players
not near their level, the taunting starts. I don't need this crap.

 

The most disgusting person i have heard was actually on PSN while playing MW3. He was one of those guys at level 70 but now Icon. Some poor kid made the choice to start a conversation with this guy by first asking "are you a hacker" The guys says what? kid
says "are you a hacker" Then the much older guy says "yeah I'm a hacker, what do you want hacked?" the kid tells him he's cool, trying to be friendly etc etc. This keeps going for a few minutes until,, The older guy has gone from friendly to satan. Everything
changes to this older player threatening this kid, saying lovely things like yeah I can hack you, I am hacking you, I've got my computer here and am deleting your profile off everything. This wasn't the bad part, the bad part was the way he was talking and
terrorizing this kid with lovely comments about knowing where the kid lived and what he'd do to him. It was disgusting to say the least, every swearing rage quitting kid I hear now is nothing in comparison to this.

 

I used to have this problem many years ago. And then they came out with party chat. Problem solved.
