Abusive player need help

Hello everyone,

so heres my problem , i have recently been dealing with a person on xbox live i have never played with this person or even tried to message him/her.

he has been sending abusive messages trying to get me to run my tongue so he can report me for abusive content.

now i know what you are thinking, « just block and report him» that has been done, problem is the next day i get added into a group chat and this person said « i am a 9 year old girl and -my gamertag- said he wants to do sexual things to me report this pervert/pedophile
».

i messaged the group chat in the hope to explain to the other people that this is a scam but thing is all the other people in the group chat were also him !

so i rince and repeat block report all the accounts.

but he still comes back with new accounts , i am not the only person having trouble with this person most of my friends to one of them who has his real name exposed got tracked down on facebook.

i contacted microsft support she understood the situation and was disgusted to hear that there are people like him/her , unfortuantly she couldnt help she only told me to report him and contact xbox enforcement since she couldnt do anything on her end.

this person goes by the gamertags of [Mod Removed] and many others claiming to be a 27 year old soldier.

There isn't really much you can do other than to report and block.

I know it's not what you want to hear, but that's all you can do.

Hi there,

I'm afraid that people in here will be advising the same thing.

Block and Report and perhaps set your Privacy settings that your friends are the only ones to communicate you.

This can be set at:
https://account.xbox.com/settings or via the console.

It may take time, but Xbox Live Enforcement will look into it, hopefully soon.

will need to block and report and change privacy settings, if you feel you are in danger should report to your local law enforcement

Unfortunately all you can do is block and report the player.

It is possible to change your online preferences via the settings page on your console, You can set the communications preferences to friends only so then you can only receive messages from friends and no one else, That would prevent the abusive player from
messaging you again.
