Abusive and vulgar players

You are exactly right. I can't. I can't for the life of me figure out what gives anyone the idea that they can go through life and be abusive and offensive because they don't get their way. I really can't understand your mode of thinking on this either.
What precautions would YOU personally suggest I take to keep this type of behavior out of my child's and my gaming on XBox Live Gold that we too have paid for? Are you suggesting that to appease EVERYONE else and make sure that all the millions of gold users
are happy, that I let them stay in any game we play together online, ranked, and using our full access to the game and live service? Is that what a parent does? Just go with whatever happens, and don't bother to instill any sense of pride or self worth in
oneself? Is it my job to make sure my child knows they can do whatever they want if they get upset about anything? As stated earlier, instead of being abusive, an individual COULD have sent a much more appropriate message, but they chose the low road, and
now you are condoning it by saying I provoked them? Ya know, if someone is provoked that easily, they have what we call anger management issues. There are places to go to get that taken care of. I am beginning to see that belligerence and hostility are not
exclusive to the CoD lobbies, which is why I left them over a year ago.

You want a suggestion of how to protect your daughter,STOP CREATING RANKED PUBLIC MATCHES when you only want to play with your daughter.

If you want to play privately,create a private match,its so simple i honestly don`t know what you don`t understand.

YOU are the one putting your daughter at risk,YOU are the one provoking people to abuse you,YOU are the one that can stop the abuse by not kicking people from public games.

For the very last time NO ONE CONDONES THE ABUSE,but YOU are causing it.

 

So all said and done, we don't have the right to play a ranked match and therefore become ranked? Even though we pay the same price for Gold as everyone else? Right? That because we want an enjoyable game together, we get to remain un-ranked right? So, people
looking to be in an abuse free zone, can't play at the same level as the abusers right? Because we value decency, we do not have the right to take ANY steps to prevent unnecessary abuse and offense. That since everyone pays for gold, it's a free ticket to
act however you want when you don't get your way. Basically, I could let my daughter do what that individual did and should let her act like that throughout her life right? You pay for it, so do whatever and act however you want. Don't concern yourself with
anyone around you, it's ok, they don't have a right to expect any kind of decency out of anyone.

 

Or here is novel idea...don't assume you are invited to the block party unless you're invited eh? Don't assume you have a right to do what you want just because you pay for it. I pay to have a wife...you know buying crap, dinners, presents, but that doesn't
give me the right to smack her around because I don't get invited to a ladies night out does it. It IS my game, it IS my lobby and it IS my bandwidth that is being used. I will shut down the lobby when it's time for bed, or would that be provoking some donkey
to act like they've been punched in the cat?

Considering your education level and gaming experience ,if your profile is to be believed, your complete lack of knowledge in how gaming lobbies work is astounding.

 

And your complete lack of understanding what societal norms are is equally astounding.

 

Then again, I've never threatened, abused or hurled obscenities at anyone because they booted me from THEIR lobby. I've also never been turned down when I explained what happened and I'd like to join THEIR lobby.

Is it a 'societal norm' to kick people out of a public park simply because you want some alone time with your daughter?

Ummm, yes, they are called drunks, thugs and vagrants, and they ARE booted from the parks. But, to the point of kicking people, you're really going to sit here and tell me they have a right to join whomever they want to without asking, but no one has a right
to kick them from the lobby without asking? Sounds something akin to sexism, or racism. Ya know...double standards? Do you honestly think I'd be on these forums if they would have sent a message asking if they could join?

 

The explanation for childish behavior is self entitlement. Society didn't used to function like that, although now, I am beginning to understand that it starting to become the NEW societal norm. Everyone deserves to do whatever they want because they are

Do yourself a favour a learn the difference between ranked,public and private matches.

That 3 different kinds of lobbies.

Use any means you can to learn the difference between each of these lobbies and you will start to understand why you do not need to ask for permission to join a game,or ask permission yourself.

Yeah poor little me has no idea what the difference is. If we didn't want to be ranked, we wouldn't be in a ranked match lobby. Maybe you should learn to not only read but to comprehend what has been written. I stated this all before, even asked you if you
thought we shouldn't have the same access to ranked as the abusers. And it's obvious YOU are a partaker in the entitlement movement. No one said you HAD to ask permission, it is a simple matter of manners and etiquette to do so. Assuming you can do what you
want with no modicum of politeness or even a hint of self respect is called SELF ENTITLEMENT! Let me guess, you just jump to the front of the line because your life is more busy and hectic than anyone elses huh? Or you're on your cell phone in the movie theatre
because you're important huh?
