Abusive and vulgar players

You do not need to ask to join any online game,and no one needs to ask to join yours,thats the whole point of public match making.

Maybe if you didn`t kick people out for no reason they wouldn`t be abusive.

Well me and my friend Ivantorres228 are getting bullied by a player . Hes telling us rude stuff . He really hurted my friend . he made fun of him cause hes voice was different . he was calling us racits names . He told me that I should go back to Mexico
. Its makes me sad because I myself i am a mexican . He told my friend to suck ******** . my friend was sad . He said that he was going to hack us . i am scared .

 

Ok, vote, so by that reasoning, I pay my vehicle registration taxes for the road that everyone else drives on right? I therefore should be able to use my vehicle to push someone out of the way because I want to be first at the stop light. What you and everyone
else on here is saying, is that if I pay for something, I can do whatever I please. I have a RIGHT to do so. Ummmm...I exercised my RIGHT to kick players from my lobby. But that doesn't count right? Or does it?

 

The people you are kicking from the PUBLIC lobby pay for their gold time too.

Just because you create a game doesn`t mean you own the lobby,its a PUBLIC match.

 

So being kicked out of something grants anyone the exclusive right to be abusive? Hmmm...Too bad the developers didn't leave spots for say, oh, umm, "FRIENDS ONLY" like some other games. If I am searching for a game, to play online with my friend, and I
get thrown into another lobby and get booted, I most certainly DON'T take offense. They are NOT bound and obligated to let me play in their game. I don't want or need to be in their game. It really amazes me the self entitlement that people have begun to exhibit.

 

Well, I get it now. Let's agree to disagree on the matchmaking and public bla bla bla stuff. I'm printing this out for next semester's political science class. My students are going to be given an assignment to read this transcript, to understand it, and
to make an argument for or against it and why. Make's a good case study.

 

I really don`t understand where you are getting the idea that people own game lobbies,its simply wrong.

Every game that is being played online publicly can be joined by anyone,without prior permission.

The vast majority of games,if not all, have a private match option where you can play with FRIENDS ONLY.

You are choosing to play publicly not privately and than complaining when people join you.

No one here condones abuse,but you are provoking them by kicking them out of your PUBLIC games.

 

I really don't understand where you get the idea that any human being has the RIGHT to be offensive and abusive because they don't get their way. A good majority of games have an option to set the public lobby up for friends only or invite only. I am not
complaining in anyway shape or form. In fact, if those individuals had responded with a "hey, we weren't trying to disrupt your game, but if you have room, we'd love to play", THAT would've actually got them an invite sent, but to respond right off the bat
with "[Mod Removed] and then go[Mod Removed]" doesn't give much credence to your view that anyone IS allowed to play wherever they want to.

 

And I ever felt the inclination to provoke, there are a lot better ways than to kick someone from a lobby.

I'm saying the exact opposite. That just because you pay for the service, you can't just do what you want.

Just because a person pays doesn't mean they can send abusive messages. By the exact same token, just because you pay does not give you the right to kick players from public lobbies because you want to play a private match.

The kick feature is there for people, oddly enough, to handle abusive or disruptive players. It is not there for people to set-up private matches in public lobbies.

 

Not sure how many times we can all say it,NO ONE HERE IS CONDONING ABUSE of any kind.

What we are simply saying is that it is you that is provoking them.

The abuse is only coming after you have kicked them FOR NO REASON,from a PUBLIC lobby.

 

Actually, as a parent, it is my god given right to try and protect my daughter from this kind of nonsense. If I deem that while she is living with me, in my home, and I and her are paying for Live Gold, I have an obligation to ensure, as much as possible,
a safe and enjoyable environment for us to play in. When I took those steps, I received an immediate, reprehensible, offensive and abusive message, not once but twice. So by trying to prevent, I received anyway. Personally, I'd like to find out who the parents
are and send them the messages. But as you two would have it, it's your right to abuse and offend because you pay for it. Nice.

You are exacty right. I can't. I can't for the life of me what gives anyone the idea that they can go through life and be abusive and offensive because they don't get their way. I really can't understand your mode of thinking on this either. What precautions
would YOU personally suggest I take to keep this type of behavior out of my child's and my gaming on XBox Live Gold that we too have paid for? Are you suggesting that to appease EVERYONE else and make sure that all the millions of gold users are happy, that
I let them stay in any game we play together online, ranked, and using our full access to the game and live service? Is that what a parent does? Just go with whatever happens, and don't bother to instill any sense of pride or selfworth in oneself? Is it my
job to make sure my child knows they can do whatever they want if the get upset about anything?
