Abuser/Stalker/Modder

Hello,

Is there anything I can do to stop a modder/stalker instead of reporting them on xbox live and probably having my report lost in thousands of other reports? I have a gamer tag of an individual who is constantly "stalking" me and my friend. He has not only
modded/booted us offline, but hacked social media profiles. Aside from the modding/hacking, he uses very inappropriate and threatening language. Would changing our gamertags help shake him off or can our ip addresses still be tracked? Not sure where else
to post this question for help.

Essentially a well known modder ending up in a game with The Pro (as he was then) and proceeded to throw around some quite foul abuse about him and his family.

The modder then released a highly edited version of the events to 'prove' how The Pro was abusing his powers.

What the modder failed to realise was that someone else was also recording the match and they released their version, which showed what really happened.

Yes, like you said, you aren't intentionally allowed to play in a game with a modder. If you come across someone modding in GTA, you should leave and report the modders/hackers.



Intentionally playing with modders is still against the Code of Conduct, you shouldn't be playing with them, and they shouldn't be hacking.

Reporting the user via the tools on the console is the only and best way, that is the only way Enforcement will look into it, the report won't be lost in thousands of others, but it might take some time before action is taken.

I wouldn't go and change your Gamertag, I would advise to Block (and report which you have done) and try to ignore.

I know it might not seem as enough, but it is, just might take some time.

 

the reports will be reviewed, sometimes it just takes time though.

You could also change your online communications settings through the console so that only friends are able to message/communicate with you, that would stop him sending messages.

 

i would very much surgest using the report and block function from your xbox
