Abuse of game share on eBay?

Well this is a bit outside of xbox as they would need to know the account of the game but i would have to say it’s ebay who has to sort it out as they are really only ones who can stop the buying. And seeing how so many accounts are the same it seems it’s
a scam.

thing is they wont get far, they can only share with one other person, unless they have loads of accounts for sale, either way it is fraud. the only thing you can do is report to ebay, and possibly drop an email to microsoft but that may not get anywhere.

it happens all over the place, there is only so much ebay can do, if they vetted every single posting ebay would not exist.

As I was browsing ebay looking to buy a game when I noticed some game games being ridiculously cheap, specifically Resident Evil 3 for less than £4, it all sounded suspect to me, so I reported the listing to ebay.

What is being offered is not a legitimate download code or even a disc copy, it was instructions to use another profile and abuse the game sharing function to download the game and use another profile in the background.

How is this allowed? Surely such fraudulent activity must violate ebay’s own rules, and those of Xbox live itself.

If any admins want to take this forward, I would be more than willing to pass on a link to the seller’s profile so this can be investigated further for enforcement to be taken.

It does break tos not sure any one on here can do much about ebay tho

I reported the items, but it seems this person reported is running several accounts at once, as I have seen listings from other ebay users, with the exact same wording as the other ones.

i hope XBL can trace the accounts and ban this person for life, if that’s all happen, they are very kucky, police could easily get involved here if ebay want to go that way.
