Abuse due to Gamertag

Hi,

I am part of a gaming organisation called Demolition Gaming, my GT is

I have received abuse due to my gamertag on and off for about 3 months now, this abuse has come through Xbox Live but primarily on Twitter. This is both unfair & unfortunate as these people do not know me. I am certain that with a different gamertag this
abuse would not have occurred. I have reported the players on the Xbox that have sent the abuse and am under the impression that they have received a communication ban. I am requesting an enforced gamertag change in order to combat the pressing issue of future
abuse.

gamertag change due to bullying

ok I'm putting this today due to an insodent of bullying over my gamertag and it makes me soo upset about all the abuse I'm getting and I request and gamertag change because I have isssues that make this harder to take so plz can I have agamertag change

Offensive Gamertag Abuse

Hello,

I have recently moved from Croatia to Australia and am receiving alot of abuse on xbox live due to a offensive gamertag. My Gamertag () refers to what Croatian Soldiers called themself when they were fighting the Serbians. Due to a large population
of Ethnic culture in Australia i am constantly getting abused for my gamertag. I do not have the funds to change it as I am new to this country but Xbox live support directed me to post here.

An enforced change is carried out only against a gtag that violates the Xbox Live Code of Conduct. Your gtag is legit and doesn't falls into this category so if you want to change it for personal reasons you have to pay the fee for it.

If anyone harasses you online through messages or chat just report the said person or if the abuse continues block them.

The did attempt to release inactive gamertags but it was shortly stopped due abusers taking them up and selling them. Symbols could be abused for inappropriate use.

Microsoft used to allow people to change their name for free when it was force changed but too many people would abuse that gesture and make a gamertag just as against the terms of service as their previous gamertag or worse.

So because of that Microsoft eventually decided to start charging to change your gamertag again after it was force changed due to the amount of people abusing the previous way of doing things. Players would be less likely to change their gamertag to something
against the rules if their was a price to pay for doing so.

That being said you can blame the players over the years who abused being allowed to change their Gamertag for free when force changed for that new policy.
