    Absolver, Microsoft store, PC and Xbox?


    So I've heard that some games are capable of being played on both PC and xbox if you buy a copy for the console, my brother did this with Halo Wars 2 I believe. I was wondering if this applied to Absolver such that if I bought it through the Microsoft
    store I'd be able to play on the PC?

    Absolver is not currently an
    Xbox Play Anywhere title    , meaning if you wish to play it on both Xbox One and PC you will need to purchase copies for both platforms.

    If its a play anywhere title (which it should say it in the games descriptions/capabilities in the Microsoft Store) it will play on PC if you bought it on console and vice versa. However, if its not... then it won't. If Absolver has a specific PC port
    then that is what you will have to buy. Whereas Halo Wars 2 has both that can be enabled together.

    The problem is that Microsoft has no way of verifying that you once had a code and then lost it, so they absolve themselves of responsibility of lost or stolen codes. Sorry :(
