About Xbox & Steam game lists

To whom it may concern,

Forgive me if this question is stupid or posted at a wrong place, for this is my first time asking a question.

I have been wondering whether it is possible to separate my game list on Xbox and Steam, or at least having such a choice. I guess I am in the minority or considered weird, but I don't quite understand why suddenly one day I found my Xbox game list suddenly
merged with my Steam game list without me having a say at all, and I have not been quite happy about that as I consider these two platforms quite separate from each other. This is particularly annoying since Steam achievements and Xbox achievements are not
even compatible or shared, so why MS would consider it appropriate to merge their gaming lists?

No worries, it's a good question.

Taking a look, I don't see a way to filter out those games in the App. I think it just looks for all the games installed on the system. Best option would be to leave your ideas on how to improve the system at
the Xbox Feedback site.

Personally, I wish they took it further. I wish it was a (faster) app that aggregated all my games in one place, brought all my friends lists together.
Basically I want what the GoG new app is doing. Bring it all in one house, easy to manage, but still allow for the different competing marketplaces and features.

Only certain games on steam will show up on your achievements list if they are from steam. Basically games that are not on Xbox but are on steam, should not show up at all on your achievements list.

only play anywhere games will be listed, if you bought games on the xbox and they are not play anywhere then they will not appear on the pc, microsoft games bought on steam are only available on steam.
