About Xbox One Save Data Files...

Can "Xbox One" games' save data files be copied onto a usb flash drive stick or onto an external hard drive and can they be edited like the Xbox 360 save game files can be???

Transfer x360 cloud save to Xbox One???

Hello "NewBlacksmurf"

Theoretically speaking, this is how it would work...

(1) On the Xbox 360, you "move" the Diablo 3 Classic save file data to the Cloud or Flash Drive.

(2) You "move" the Diablo 3 Classic save file data from the cloud or Flash Drive to the Xbox One HDD.

(3) The game detects the Diablo 3 save file data from the Xbox One HDD and then converts it to Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition save file data.

(4) You can now play Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition on the Xbox One

Note: Theoritically speaking, since the save file date that is going to be converted is directly linked to the Gamertag that is currently active, inactive Gamertags will not be affected & should still be usable with Diabl0 3 Classic. Save file data that
has been converted into Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition will not be compatible at all with Diablo 3 Classic.

Question about save files

Game save files can not be transferred between separate profiles.
As to the location of save files, there are 2 separate ones. If you go to the game you want, press start on it, select manage game it'll bring up the game files and on the far right will be the save data. The other save area is in the cloud if your connected to the internet.

They can't be copied to a USB stick. The saves are stored locally, but they're also automatically uploaded to Xbox Live, so the system is designed so that you don't need to back saves up and if you sign into another console, your saves will just sync via
Live when you go to play a game.

Modifying game saves is against the terms of service and can get you banned, so I wouldn't do that if I was you.

The data on the cloud it not the save file I need the cloud saved the new save to it before I noticed it the only data left of the game save is on the console itself with no gamer picture on it meaning its no ones save file.

I will try deleting my profile only without the saved games and hopefully when I sign in it connects me to the right save file.

But I need to be able to get them on pc so i can send them to my friend. Or is there a way to gain access to the cloud storage, from pc?
