About To Purchase An Xbox One, Need Help With Understanding Parental Controls

Can a 15 year old, play multiplayer, in particular games with a higher rating than his age, such as PEGI 18. Is it possible for me to allow him to play these games? I don’t want any restrictions on his account, is it possible for him to play mature
content online without restrictions, for games such as Grand Theft Auto V that come to xbox one later in the year. Is it possible for him to play those games online. I've had problems with Sony before with this, and i would like to know, is it the same
on the xbox one, or can I as the parent, remove all restrictions and allow him access to multiplayer in games like Battlefield and Call Of Duty.

Hey there Gavva! This is probably due to your age restrictions set up on your child account by the parent account. You will need to give your account permissions to purchase game content. Here's a guide to parental controls, if you need it:

Yes this is possible. Should be allowed by default.

 

As the parental account, you would be able to impose the restrictions under parental/family settings, but you can also remove them entirely so that they do not restrict access.
