About the vibration of the controller

Hey everyone, look i'm having some issues with my controller, everytime i turn off and turn on my controller, the vibration stops to function and i have to reset the console to make it work again, does someone know if this is a problem with my controller
or my configurations, or something like that?

Hey there Sun and Dream! If you are talking about the Vibration function of the Xbox 360 Controller, no there is no setting to change the intensity of the Vibration, only the option to turn in on or off. I hope this helps!

1. Press the Xbox button
   to open the guide, and then select System > Settings.
2. Select Ease of Access > Controller, and then select Vibration settings.
   
3. Choose the controller you want to change and select Configure.
   • For an Xbox Elite Controller, select the configuration profile you want to change. Then select
     Edit > Vibration and move the sliders to adjust vibration settings.
     
   • For the Xbox Wireless Controller, select Turn on vibration to turn controller vibration on or off.

If not I would suggest to try it..

the vibrations do also Stop if you have not enough Batterie left...

 

Yes, i tried to update the controller and check the batteries, but nothing, everytime i turn off and turn on the controller, the vibration stops to work.

 

ok sounds strange, but may I also have this issue. but I don^t recognize it because i don^t turn on and off the Controller..

But I^m wondering why do you want to turn on/off Controller? for what do you that?

Oh, i discovered something! the problem is somehow related to the kinect, when i turn off my controller it's to go somewhere like, to eat something in the kitchen and those stuff, so i think, the kinect detects when i leave the room, so when i was playing
Charriot, i left the room for a minute to open the door to a visit, when i came back the game was paused,when i tried to play the game again, the vibration stopped to work

(sorry if my english is not good, i'm using google translator =P)

so, as i found, it's not the controller, it's the kinect, everytime i leave the room and come back,with the kinect on, the vibration of the controller stops to work,try to see if you have this too.

 

can you check if you gonna signed out while leaving room? I believe the Controller is than not added anymore to your profile

 

No,i never sign out when i leave from my room, to be honest,the first thing i do when i turn on the console is to log in, and then,i never log out, i just turn off the console.

 

If you use kinect it detects that youre not in room anymore and auto sign out. Check your settings
