So I have a couple more questions regarding the rep system after tweeting Xbox support back and forth for a few hours. They said your reputation increases with postitive feedback, yet on the Xbox one you cannot submit positive feedback about players, lul

also, how long does it take to get from bad reputation to good player again? I've already been a good player for 3 monhs according to enforcement website, however my console refuses to update this. This is now month No.4 since mysteriously falling into the
bad category and I've been furiously playing world tanks as much as I physically can without risking my personal health ( as it's the only game that seems to work) in order to meet as many players possible which is supposedly how you increase your rep again,
by not getting reported right? So why does it take so long? I must have met over 500 players already because each game is 15v15. So something is either broken or someone is lying

I know my last post about this wasn't exactly being civilaised, however its because I don't want to give up on microsoft because Xbox has the better games for me, but I'm paying for a Xbox live membership and for nearly half a year now that has been money
down the drain. 9 years of Xbox live gaming and no issues prior to this. Thanks to anyone who might be able to shed some light on this

*edit: enforcement is displaying that the graph has moved back to green and so the console should be displaying this now right? Or am I missing something?

As usual phone/chat support are talking rubbish.

It takes as long as it takes for your rep to get back into the green,there is no set time period.

Just playing one game wont help much,you need to play other games.

Your rep on your console tends to be your true rep,it sometimes takes the enforcement site a while to sync up properly.

 

'It takes as long as it takes' so you're telling me it could take a year or it might take a couple of weeks despite what the website says? Why have the website then if that isn't your true rep?..

Unfortunately I do not have any storage space left on my console for anymore games hence why I had to pick one that worked and stick with that because it's all I can play

If you only play one game it will take longer than if you play several different games & it all depends on your behaviour online so there is no set time period as to how long it'll take for your rep to go back into the green.

It wont take a year but it wont go up within a couple of weeks either.

Your rep has dropped over a period of 6 months so it could take another 6 months to go back up again depending on you.

Average time is about 6-8 weeks but it could be longer.

 

Is that 6-8 weeks from when you go back to green in the graph? Because I only went back up to green at the start of this month. But thank you for that indication, that's all I wanted to know, have a good day!

 

The reputation system was never made to allow people to quickly turn around poor rep, it is a very complicated system that takes into account a ton of stuff, rep left from other people, reports sent to XBlive, xblive checking into said reports and player
behaviour, so it is not just the fact that some people left bad rep, it is a big system with lot's of information gathering and failsafes, but it was never mean't to reward poor online behavior by allowing it too be turned around when said player was ready.

So forget about trying to manupulating the rep system in a certain time period, it will not work, the only sure fire way to fix bad rep is to change whatever poor behavior got a acccount into bad rep in the first place, because poor behaviour will always
take you back to square one, just play games, enjoy, be decent to people online, and forget the rep system, then one day you might find that not only have you been enjoying online gaming, but look, you got a good online rep.
