  1. About some saves

I've found myself in a bit of a pickle and an expedient response is very much desired. I have accidentally overwritten a desired save with an undesired one on the cloud. I was going to resign myself to reaquiring all my progress when I remembered the desired save is still present on another Xbox. Said Xbox is currently offline, but the desired save data is stored locally, on the hardware. I was wondering if I could somehow overwrite the cloud data with this particular local data. Please advise.

    :)

    About some saves

Hi and thanks for reaching Microsoft Xbox gamer's community. My name is Josef.
I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft Xbox user like you.

Hope you're doing great today despite this STAPLECASHEW701

If the actual cloud save is not too important for you can try deleting the current save everywhere.
After that use the other console and go online.

But probably even if you skip the previous when you open the game on the current offline console you're going to see something like "Which one do you want to use?"

Then select "this save" in the other Xbox.

    Check the cloud saves FAQ:
    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/...

"You get this message when your console has newer or different locally saved data than what’s saved in the cloud, usually after you play offline. You’ll be given the choice of which saved data to use, the locally saved or the cloud saved version (and you’ll be notified which is newer). Pick the “save” you want to use and continue"

To make a summary, yes. It's possible to use the old (desired) save and replace it using the other console

    Some advice about game saves!

Dont quote me on this but just logically speaking i do not see why you would not be able to move them onto you r pc and back again via usb.

    .

Please be advised though that this is how people gamesave and the like so it may look a bit dodgy if you do do it.

    .

Thats just my 2 pence as these forums are slow for replies unless its the old xo vs ps4 debate!

    Some advice about game saves!

You wont see your saves if you put your USB into your PC. The folder itself is hidden, view hidden files and you'll see files named Data0000, Data0001, Data0002, etc.

    -

People who have tried moving them to their PC have reported that the 360 fails to see them when they are put back.

    -

The only other methods are by use of third party programs, and as Boas mentioned, could look a little dodgy.
