    About Microsoft Sudoku: When a challenge has been completed, allow user to FINISH the board


    One of the magics of a game like sudoku is the satisfying feeling of having completed the game/board - leaving NO blanks behind you. At the moment, when a challenge is done, the game does NOT allow you to continue finishing what is left.

    This is actually quite annoying...

    I have beem robbed

    I have been playing Sudoku all year, nothing like this has ever happened. I finished the daily challenge for July 27 Sudoku when it went to Calendar normally I would see all of the challenges completed, today there were only two challenges showing completed.
    I want to know what Is going on.

    has anyone had a problem like this?

    Microsoft Sudoku failures

    Recently my Microsoft Sudoku challenges have been VERY slow starting and the game also loses track of completed challenges.

    Slow every day, forgot a challenge today and 2 days ago. Had to repeat to get credit.

    I have gone as far as to email the company that authors Sudoku (Arkadium) and all they do is tell me to do things on my end as if it is my fault or my computer's fault. I have also tried the game on a second computer with the exact same result. Since it
    is now the end of the month and I have several days that I cannot complete the challenges, this has ruined a perfect streak of solving the challenges which has gone on for at least 18 months now. I am through with this game if it cannot be fixed and I am
    not allowed to finish those days even after the new month begins. I know Microsoft probably does not care about it, but I would think the advertisers would be interested in knowing that at least one less person is seeing their ads.

    What banner are you using in the co-op?

    I finished commando mastery a while back and now that is my favorite banner to use. Council operative. Oh, and I'm about to complete squad elite when I finish the weekend challenge. This will be my 9th weekend challenge completion.

    The ads are locking up the game.

    Same issue for... Solitaire, Mah-jong, Sudoku. Started happening a few days ago. Ads freeze and don't allow me to play the daily challenges. Getting rid of my surface, and replacing with an android tablet..... tired of Microsoft BS.

    Unsolvable Pyramid Games

    Are you talking about daily challenges, events, or just regular pyramid games?

    All daily games and event puzzles are solvable, although you might not be able to complete a specific board (in other words, you may not have to finish the first board to solve the puzzle).

    And if there are a 6 and 7 at the top, you need to save a 7 and 6 to use on them - no matter how tempting it may be to use them on others 6s and 7s.
