    how far range will the laptop connect to the xbox one, my internet dont wont well upstairs, if I have the xbox one upstairs and the laptop down stair will I be able to stream? or is it to far?

    How many consoles do you have include gaming pc and handled

    i mean i have 3 laptops, 4 xboxs, 1 ps3, wii, thats about it and probably will get the ps4 and xbox one

    Hey im getting an X1 Soon And I Have LEDTV I Rarely get to use because of my kids. I have a dell inspiron 15 with an HDMI port is there anyway to utilize it as a monitor???

    Assuming you're using Wifi for both devices, the range is only as good as the Wifi signal between each device and the router.

    Keep in mind that it's best to stream when both devices are wired to the network via ethernet. A weak Wi-Fi signal can produce a low quality stream with high input lag.

    How do I connect Xbox one x to my laptop?

    If you're talking about streaming to the xbox app over network, see here:

    If you're talking about using the HDMI out port on your laptop as an HDMI in port to play the xbox one X on your laptop screen, that is impossible as all HDMI ports on laptops are output only.

    In order to use your xbox one X on your laptop you will need a capture device with HDMI in and a USB 3.0 connection to your laptop in order to get the video and audio on your laptop screen. The first one that comes to mind is the

    ElGato HD60.

    XBOX One - 802.1X / WPA2-Enterprise

    The Xbox One support WPA, WPA2, and WEP. There's nothing in the support documentation about WPA2-Enterprise and 802.1X authentication.

    I know others in universities have used their laptops to connect to their universities networks and then used the MAC Address from the laptop connection on the Xbox 360. This should be possible with the Xbox One as well by adjusting the alternative MAC Address
    and replacing it with another already connected device like a laptop.

    I have done a few speed tests, from just a laptop on, up to a max of two laptops, 3 Xbox 360s and an Xbox One and a Kindle, 8 down would just about be enough with all running basically, but problems arrived with multiple streaming, and with the Xbox One
    updating ? Well, it eats it up. Can't wait for fibre.

    If your laptop has only one HDMI port it most certainly will only be HDMI out. Which means you can't use the laptop as a display. About 99% of laptops are HDMI out only.
