    I have had problems with this error code through 2 windows installs. Ive also been seeing it for about 5 weeks.

    Has anyone else had this issue? How did you fix it (if you did)?

    Errors in the 87dexxxx all seem to relate to game licenses or content downloading from the store. This support, Error code 0x87de2720 may assist
    you.

    Check your download queue for a paused update to a game or app from MS store.

    If it's a disc based game make sure the disc in in the drive when you try to start game.

    Xbox code (given away on the Xbox subreddit). And it's not showing up at all (I don't have game pass, or EA access), within console or checking my account online. The DLC is even weirder because I got that within the xbox store, on my xbox, but under
    my MS account it's listed as 'PC - DLC'

    How to redeem promotion code

    Okay, I figured it out. I couldn't use the promo code from the Xbox store and I couldn't use it in the download section of the MS Store. I had to purchase a download code from the non-download section of the store. Once I got to a shopping cart style
    checkout there was a place to enter a promo code.
    There is no download section in ms store

    Ms store is the physical and online storefront for disks consoles etc

    Xbox.com is the storefront for digital content
