I’m sorry, but you’ll find a great many 360 games and apps that aren’t part of the backward compatibility program losing support over the next few years due to the console being discontinued and a dwindling userbase

GTA Online is very expensive to maintain, and they will be launching Xbox Series versions in the fall. Something probably had to go, and that would be the version likely not making a lot of money. It already stopped supporting new features several years back.

You can pick up a vanilla Xbox One for +/- $100 used, and the X1 version of GTA is frequently around $15 so you can keep playing

How is the xbox one boring?

The xbox one version of GTA V Online has more going on,better visuals etc & is a far better experience than the 360 version.

The xbox 360 is an old console now & with the Series X/S & PS5 versions of GTA V coming out there's no point in keeping the old & outdated 360 version going.

As the others have mentioned,it's not cost effective.

If you want to carry on playing GTA V online then you'll either need a xbox one or a series x/s.

well it is up to rockstar as it is their servers, if they see no monetary value in keeping them up then they will get shut down, as with most third party games the devs/publishers run the servers at their expense, it costs money, no money = no servers.

We all want it to stay on why we all trying to keep GTA online on 360 because Xbox one is boring just to say mate

Unfortunately you can't play GTV 5 Online anymore on the Xbox 360 as Rockstar Games shut the servers down around this time last year.

This shutdown does not affect the single player game.
