About external storage HDD

Heyo

I recently connected a external storage to my xbox series s, its a HDD but recently saw my full library not loading

I don't know whats the issue, is it because of something i did or is it because of Microsoft?

I already did that it doesn't work.

And no it isn't corrupted, me and my dad checked the hard drive and it was working fine.

But i have a feeling its because of my internet that the full library isn't loading. But again it's guess

No worries we will be performing troubleshooting steps. I have here steps that we can try, please perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

“ 1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.”

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

"Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps."

The external hard drive may have been corrupted.

Kindly perform a powercycle on your console and then check if there will be an improvement.

"POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. "

I have enough Storage on the internal and also on the external HDD. The Size of the Game is 24,6GB. I have 130GB on the internal an about 800Gb on the external HDD free.

NOT any external hdd devices
