i recently bought my xbox one and i want to know if my game goes along (gta v) i saw that in the list of compatible games from xbox 360 for xbox one what gta v is not on the list but I want to know if this applies even if the game is on digital media

BC is a program for all games. On discs and digital. There is no difference. Library of BC games is here. There is Xbox one version of the game.

As mentioned previously all
Backwards Compatible Games will be available for the Digital and Physical copies of the games. In this case GTA V does not fall under this category being that there was an Xbox One version made for this game.

If you would like to play GTA V on the Xbox One you would need to purchase the appropriate copy for the console. You can find the game digitally by following the link below.

As long as a game is Play Anywhere you can buy for one and play on both (as long as it's digital). Sea of Thieves will work on both.
