    Step One: go to options

    Step Two: go to settings

    Step Three: go to User Interface and it will show up close to the bottom that says classic crafting and click it. then you should be able to do classic crafting inside the game

    Hi there, I would suggest moving the save data to a USB before doing anything.

    -

    Once you've got that data then delete the game from the HDD and re-download from your download history and see if you can then reload the save from the USB.

    It should tell you if the save file is corrupted when loading. Go ahead and delete the game and redownload before deleting the save file.... Or, try starting a new game under a different save file.....Otherwise, you could try clearing your cache 3 times.

    Sounds like the save might be corrupted. He might have to start over. If this happens through the new play through, I would uninstall the game and reinstall it. Sorry.
