Ability to switch to game chat from party

Discus and support Ability to switch to game chat from party in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I remember when getting the X1, around early December last year, and messing around with parties.     I remember when getting the X1, around early December last year, and messing around with parties. I'm pretty sure I remember the option to "Switch to game chat" when the Party app was snapped. I haven't really played on the X1 until the recent release of
    Horizon 2 (and playing more with Halo:MCC & more this Nov). With all the system updates since release, I don't see this option anymore in the snapped party? Maybe it was changed/moved to an option somewhere I'm missing but it's starting to drive me crazy that
    I have to leave and re-create parties all the time...

    Tl;dr: Can't find the option to simply switch to game chat without actually leaving the party, a feature that I remember being present in pervious X1 OS versions.

    Does BF3 not support switching between Party Chat & Game Chat without leaving the Party?

    When I want to switch from Party Chat to Game Chat it seems like I have to leave the Party entirely... instead of just being able to switch Chat channels.

    am I missing something?

    Party chat switches to game chat.

    Is this happening in all games or just certain games?

    Is it just you getting disconnected or are other members also?

    Are you plugging in or disconnecting a wired controller when it happens?

    If a wireless controller, is the battery low?

    (This also happens to friends in parties occasionally in Rainbow Six Siege).

    You will get the option to switch to game chat, when you highlight your gamertag in the party app and press A.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. You can switch from party or game chat via the party options. There will be an option to switch to game chat if you are in party chat. There is no channel for this feature.

    Mic not working in Fortnite - Xbox one.

    Default setting is party chat. I have followed advice to switch settings from open mic/party chat to push to talk/game chat. I tried this several times, saving settings then exiting game, reloading game and switching settings back to open mic/party chat.
    Nothing has been successful.
