    Ability to play downgraded versions of x/s games


    I have some Xbox series x/s enhanced games on my external hdd. It would be nice to be able to play them from the external as Xbox one Games and then if I want to take advantage of the series x/s enhancements I can move them over to the internal.

    The One version of the game can be played on a Series S/X. The Series S/X version cannot be played on a One.

    How do I fix a compatibility issue?

    When it's listed as S/X, it's referring to the Series S/X not the One. If there is a One version of the games you're wanting to play, you would need to make sure to get that version of the game, not the Series S/X version.

    The One version of Hogwarts Legacy is currently available for preorder and will release on April 4.

    They released that game as a One version and as a Series S/X version. The Series S/X version will only work on a Series S/X.
