Ability to Pin Websites to Xbox dashboard or add to group

Hello,

If you are using the Edge browser on your Xbox console you will note that after the URL address there's a star icon next to it, where you can add a bookmark or a reading list for those sites. And next to it, you will find your bookmarks / favorite sites
as well your browser history and download history.

Please note that this information will sync if you are also using Edge on your Windows 10 device or mobile phone as long you have enabled the sync with your Microsoft Account across these devices.

This dashboard is based on the Metro interface of WIndows Phone 7 which I love. However, it does not have one of its best features, the ability to pin the tiles. Why can't I pin Youtube or Inside Xbox to the home screen?

You are describing the older Xbox One Dashboard. Microsoft is working on an updated UI that removes the individual tabs you mentioned which is being tested in the Dashboard Preview program. I don't know when that will be released to the general public.

Have you tried using the menu button (three line icon) on items that you don't want and then select remove? Did you know you can create your own Groups of games in My games & apps and also pin the group(s) to your Dashboard? If you have a favorite friend
that you'd like to pin to your Dashboard then there is an option for that too (select People - profile of GT you want added - Add to home).

I don't recall if this is in old version or if it's only in the new Dashboard Alpha Preview I have but you can press Y to search your stuff and Microsoft Store directly on the Dashboard.

Unfortunately there’s no other way to have a quick way on setting games and apps as shortcuts to pins/groups. This has happened to me as well it’ll be in the group/pins section and it’ll say to see in store. Usually you’ll just have to remove it and add it back to the group/pins tab you have made. You can as well just press the Xbox guide button press Y button to search for apps/games as well.

Wrong. You can't move the ads to the bottom of the screen because this Dashboard update (downgrade) removed the ability to customise the Home screen (dashboard).

Creation of Two groups, to pin games and apps, is all your allowed and they will always appear below the first page of ADS.

Any panel of ADS shown as you scroll thru this cluttered mess cannot be moved, hidden or deleted by the owner of the console.

This is by far the WORST change to the XBOX interface released to the public after all the unanswered NEGATIVE feedback provided by Insiders during the 12 months of testing.
