A40 NO GAME SOUND AT ALL PLEASE HELP

Starting to get kind of *** off. Have a new set of a40 with mis amp I have updated all firmware and I get no sound at all with these. They work on my ps4 no problem. I have got in contact with astro and can't seem to find anyone else with this problem. I
have hanged all audio settings and when I change hdmi output to bitstream it gives me an error about my audio recover and my optical audio is set to bitstream and it works fine on my ps4 nothing at all for Xbox one. Very frustrating it's not the headset it's
the Xbox. Any help would be appreciated as this is really pissing me off. Money wasted.

No Sound at all

Hey there! That is definitely frustrating! Try what's in this link here first,

support.xbox.com/.../improve-audio-quality

And also, try hooking up another HDMI device into that same slot on your TV to see if that works. (If you have one)

Slight chance it could be the TVs HDMI port not working correctly, or even the cable itself. Do you have another HDMI cable you could test as well?

No Sound at all

I have the new xbox 360 and it worked fine the other week but today, it has no sound..It has a beautiful picture but absolutly no sound. It is hooked with HDMI cable. The audio works fine with the TV and otherwise but just not the xbox. Anyone have any suggestions?

had same problem but with a50's,the thing that worked for me is to push on the headset where it says game on one side and voice on the other and push in middle until you hear it beep,also make sure hdmi is off and the optical is bitstream and the last one
is set to dolby.

The in game chat sound quality in this game is horrendous. I have Astro A40s and everyone sounds like robots.

There is quite a few headsets I recommend for this task some turtlebeach headset will be primary choice from personal experience

Cheap ones I would recommend are the Turtle Beach Recon 50X set

These are roughly 25-30 pound but are certainly worth there price.

Medium Priced headset Turtle beach Recon 200

Loved this headset but it can get warm round the ears from long gaming sessions but the quality of the sound and the microphone are spot on Price 50-60

very expensive headset recommendation Astro A40 OR Turtle beach Stealth 600

These headsets are very expensive but are quite good, I know the astro's use the SPDIF slot from the console for the sound, Which is a digital signal and has a clearer signal and it shows in the sound quality. Astros A40 can also have a amp set which does
cost extra though.

Astro A40: 140-180

Astro a40 with amp: 210-250

The Stealth 600 has all the power built in and can have a app on the windows 10 for it to help customize it further and fully compatible with both systems. Stealth 500 has a battery life of roughly 13-15 hours from personal experience it close to 10 with
hard use.
