I would like to see re-releases of the old Medal of Honor games.

A WW2 themed Battlefield game would be pretty damn cool, too.

 

Modern Shooters vs World War II Shooters

WW2 shooters were awesome. In terms of COD, I'll take WW2 any day. Now R6V or Battlefield, I don't know.

 

They could call it Battlefield 1942........

Much rather see a new 2142. WW2 and vietnam have been done to death already

 

I don't care if its 2142 or WW2 im getting tried of this modern shooter. I think DICE is making Battlefront next before any battlefields.

 

Agreed, I'd love a world war 2 game again. Bit sick and tired of the modern era ones of meeting bad guy, bad guy does bad things, and you go on to kill or capture bad guy all while losing a friend along the way.

 

The main things I liked about the ww2 shooters was, no scopes, no attachments, no missiles, no stingers and certainly no helicopters absolutely dominating the battlefield. Just you and your gun that you had to learn to use properly. It actually took a bit
of skill!

 

I agree, People think there good cuz the can tank *** or chopper. Takes no skill, 1v10 or 1v1 with guns does. Some say to me I want 40 and 0 in a tank I say ok. Some one says I want 40 and 10 with guns I say great. And not in the mean way the nice way.

 

Man I remember the kick on a Thompson machine gun was crazy in battlefield 1942. And the bolt action rifles, while accurate were a pain in the *** in close quarters. None of this run around a corner and a sniper drops you from 2ft away with a quick scope.
Bring back some challenge I say!

 

Like I said DuFFuL EA wants to take the COD crowed so want they do Made modern warfare EA edition.

I've played nearly every single BF game & I personally like the progress the franchise has made over the years.

 

As do I GG but it's starting to get a little stale now. They don't even have to go back to ww2. Maybe the Korean War era. Flying migs and sabres would be fantastic.

 

I hope they are still making this one. It's gone a bit quiet.
