    OKay so I have had my Xbox One for about a year and a half. I never had any issues with it. Suddenly within the past month or so my brick started to make all these wacky sounds. It beeps, it whirls, it grinds, it hums, etc. Doesn't matter if the Xbox
    One is on or off - it always makes these noises.

    I decided to purchase a new brick supply but I only did this today.

    After work, I turned my Xbox one on and sat at the Green Screen for a good 45 min. Turned it off, removed the power supply FROM THE WALL. Let it sit for 10 min, came back, plugged it back into the wall. Turned XB on and black screen. Nothing would happen
    - my Kinect wouldn't turn on, my external hard drive light wouldn't even turn on. Sat there and waited impatiently for 10 min.

    Went to a support thread where someone said to do the troubleshoot. So I did. After about 15 tries of doing whatI said above, and doing the side button, eject button, and Xbox button it finally went to the green screen again, and within a few seconds turned
    to my dashboard. THANK GOD.

    Tried to go over to my friend's list; it froze, it not only froze on the side menu but it said I had 0 friends and no one appeared on or offline. Tried to go back to the main screen, froze. Ugh, Tried to shut down, the white Xbox One light just stayed
    on, lagged for 5 min, and then finally turned off. Now I restarted it, I am back at the green screen - been so for about 25 min.

    Dude. Should I just buy a new Xbox one or what? Should I wait until the new power supply comes? What the frack is going on all the sudden? I mean this just happened so quickly. Is all this happening because the system is not getting enough juice to
    the Xbox or is it just my xbox that is broke?

    So damn disheartening.

    a lot of framerate issues

    yes it has a lot of space. beeping always starts after 5 10 minutes. When I start my xbox, I go play a game and it lags already

    Hi, is the consoles power supply connected to a power surge protector at all, if so try connecting the power supply directly to the mains outlet bypassing the surge protector.

    Also is the power supply in a well ventilated area, not resting on a carpet or other type of soft furnishing.

    I gave up using WiFi and started using Ethernet Cable again, a whole lot better and never fails. Superb!
