    A way to turn off Xbox one and game controller at the same time?


    What is this? Only two options, either you turn off a console or a game controller. Why not both at the same time! I'm so tired of long push for the game controller after shutting down xbox. Or, is there something I don't know?

    Forza 6 edition xbox one startup sound after update.

    Is there a way to turn off the Forza 6 Xbox One startup sound when turning the xbox off using a controller? I used to turn my console off with the controller so I wouldn't have to hear the startup/shutdown car sounds everytime, but sinse the latest update
    I get the sounds even when using the controller to turn the console on/off. I've looked through the Xbox settings to try and find a way to turn it off but there isn't an option.

    The sounds get annoying after awhile and are fairly loud, which isn't great if I turn tt on/off late at night. If anyone has and ideas any help would be appreciated.

    my xbox doesnt turn on

    im new to use xbox

    it was working fine but when i try to find the page to download i picked wrong topic and went to turn off page

    since then it doesnt go back to game anymore

    it said turn off console. turn off controller, and close.

    either one I picked keep going back to same page.

    can you help me finding a way to go back to the game?

    Usually if I switch off my console, my controller automatically does too, this is the normal behavior.

    Can you check to see whether there are any updates available?

    How can I Charge Controller on Win 10 PC but still play on my Xbox One?

    When a cord is connected to the Xbox One controller it turns off the wireless function to work as a wired controller. Because of this the suggestion of using a USB wall charger
    WILL NOT work.

    The only way that you can use your Xbox One Controller on a W10 PC and play Xbox whilst charging the controller at the same time is to stream the game to your PC with the Xbox App if your PC meets the minimum requirements for it. If you don't want to do
    this then the only thing to do is just connect a USB directly from your Xbox to your controller

    unfortunately you cannot, the controller is set to ''always'' connect to the last synced device.

    you will have to sync your controller every time you want to switch device

    and turning off the controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button until it turn off is the intended way of turning it off without turning the Xbox off (when synced to an Xbox), or when synced to another device other then the Xbox

    I'm not certain... are the parental control turned on on the Xbox? Is there a passcode? If there is those will have to be turned off manually the same way they were put in place, if I'm not mistaken.

    I need a way to successfully unsync my Xbox controller from my console, so I can again use it on my laptop via bluetooth.

    For now, why not just turn off the Xbox at the wall, then sync your controller to your PC, then turn the Xbox back on at the wall. That way you wont turn the Xbox One on when syncing the controller to the PC.
