A warranty for XBOX 1 S console

Hi,

When i purchased my XBOX 1S console on March 09 2020 I was adviced that it is covered with a 1 year warranty.

Now, when i am having a malfunction issue with it, i am surprised to find out that the warranty expired in MAY 2020 - less than in 3 months?

How can it be so?

Please advice how my console can be checked and repaired?

It just quit transmitting video signal.

Might I ask, then is the 1 year warranty for the s|x series consoles ? so they use the same warranty paper notebook for everything ? That seems confusing.

No its not a 3 year warranty for rrod on the S models, its only a 1 year warranty. 3 year warranty was for the old style 360's but as the S model is a completely new design it is only covered by a 1 year warranty

Yes it is one year from the date of purchase as stated by section 1c of the warranty agreement.

"Warranty Period" for Xbox 360 S, means 1 year from the date You purchased it; and for Accessories, means 90 days from the date You purchased it.

Since you purchased it from a separate person on ebay the warranty would count from when they purchased the console from a retailer not from when you purchased it from them.

The Xbox 360 console comes with two warranties: the General Warranty which lasts for 1 year and covers such things as DVD drive failure, and the General Hardware Failure Warranty which lasts for 5 years as I recall, which covers the three flashing red lights
and E74.

The Xbox 360 S consoles comes with a 1 year warranty that covers everything.

You can always call Support and ask though.
