A/V ports

I'm buying an xbox 360 online off walmart. i dont know if its a regular xbox 360 or xbox 360 E. I've heard that that the xbox 360 E models have just an HDMI port and no A/V port. I've got a couple of questions 1) is this true? 2) if they have only an HDMI
port will i be able to hook it up to my VGA monitor? (LG L192WS)

Xbox Problem, Need information

The S consoles have the same a/v port as well as hdmi and a few USB ports also a dedicated port for the kinect sensor.

 

HDMI Problems

Hi, the power supply cable should be nowhere near the hdmi port, the A/V cable on the other hand is directly above the hdmi port. You can safely remove the A/V cable as you will not need that if you are using hdmi.

You can't have both the A/V cable and hdmi connected at the same time by design to prevent issues with A/V output.

 

I believe that Walmart is selling the Xbox 360 E model and while it does have an HDMI port, it also has an A/V-out port. (composite)

I`m using the Xbox 360 HDMI Cable instead, It`s much more better than the 3.5mm Composite A/V Cable there`s
a lot of hassle for me with this A/V Cable.

 

It has only an HDMI port, someone else just clarified that. So will i be able to hook it up to my VGA monitor? If yes, what cables should i use? This is my first xbox so i dont know anything haha
