A Troublesome Situation: Unable to download profile. 800704DC

I'm having a major issue with my Live. A few days ago my Xbox would not connect to the internet (or at least on my profile).

Even though I HAD my profile on my hard drive the error code 800704DC kept showing up (claiming I was downloading my profile, even though I wasn't) and my profile was not corrupted or anything.

I got on the phone with Live Support and followed their steps, in the process they had me delete my profile and try to actually download it, but the same error code showed up saying "Sorry Xbox Live profile can't be downloaded right now. Please try again."
So now I can't get to my profile at all.

Anyway once again I got on the phone with support and they had me go online and they had me try everything, updating my profile via computer, changing my passwords multiple times, trying to download my profile on a flash drive instead of the hard drive,
cleaned my cache, ect. The person that helped me did everything they could, I was told nothing is wrong with my profile and that they would contact some higher ups on the situation who might be able to figure out what is wrong , in the next few days.

I know it isn't my internet connection (which is a wired connection) because when I turn my Xbox on, Live is working fine. But for some reason Xbox won't download my profile, even though it starts to it stops and then goes to the error code.

It's a strange situation, but I just want to be able to get back to gaming and I though maybe some of you folks in the forums might be able to help, thanks.

Disconnected from Xbox LIVE when I log into any live account

I'm finally able to connect to Xbox LIVE while logged into an account however I am unable to download my profile now. When I tried to re-download my profile, as per Mister Fitzer's suggestion, my profile disappeared from the Xbox and I received error 800704DC.
I am still receiving the error whenever I try to download the profile.

An error code shows up when I try to download my profile. The error code is 800704DC.

 

This happended to me a year ago i just solved this solution by signing in my profile on xbox.com after signing in i turned on my console and tried to redownload my profile and it worked if this doesnt work for u this is a veryyyy confusing problem

 

I have logged into Xbox and Microsoft multiple times, updated my information, changed my password multiple times and still can't download my profile back. I'll keep trying, but here's hoping someone can figure this out.

 

Ok, luckily support was able to remedy the problem, I had to redeem a code on the website and it seemed to solve the problem! Hopefully anyone who has this problem in the future will be able to fix it by doing that.

I did what roadkill1910 said logged into xbox.com and then tried to download profile and surprise it worked.......strange
