Disagree no, older systems are not holding back the new kids. It taking MS and Sony to get their respective acts together regards new gen same probably apply's to developers too. Just put it down to not a very exciting gaming year for both.

Maybe 2015 will eather belong to PS4 or the XBOne, who knows or really cares at the moment ?

  2. I think they are holding the games back and it always appears the 360 version is broken anyway.

Lei, I would suggest getting any games that are on both console for the Xbox One as it looks better, usually with less problems and they're probably worth more when trading them in.

I personally will only get 360 games that I can't play on the Xbox One.

  3. Hello "DigitalAssassin" A tough decision... :)

I will only buy the Xbox One version of a game if I deem it worthy of taking up space in my Xbox One HDD.

All " Low Priority " games will be on my Xbox 360.

Alien Isolation, The Evil Within, and Dragon Age Inquisition are all " Low Priority " games to me because I don't care if I never get around to playing them.

Have a nice day or afternoon or night A tough decision... :)

Publishers set a certain budget for a particular game, if they develop for both they then need to spilt this budget over 2 teams, that means less money and time spent on either which has an effect on the final product.

  5. Hello "Farscape247" A tough decision... :)

As much as I love the Xbox 360 (it is my favorite console ever), I bought an Xbox One to play Xbox One games.

If a publisher decides to make an Xbox One and Xbox 360 version, the Xbox One versions better be leaps / bounds better than the Xbox 360 version.

Like I said, I support Xbox 360 versions of new games so long as the Xbox One version gets PROPER treatment A tough decision... :)

Another reason why I prefer 360 is because 80% of my friends are stuck on it, and I prefer the 360 UI more than the Xbox 1 UI, more kid friendlier than that Windows 8 style. Sure games look better on the Xbox 1 platform. On 360 it has an Xbox LiVe FeAtUrE
called ++ voice messaging ++. Xbox 1 only does it 1914 the Titanic style aka TXT or telegraph. I watched this Youtube video titled Table Manners The Britishes. There are numerous ways to communicate on 360, but with this so called next gen device, so far you
can only send txt messages over XBL.

^^^^This. Absolutely without question, this. The publishers set the budget and they set the time line... and of course, it goes without question that they want the devs to 'come
in under' for both. If a game has to be developed for both consoles, in fact, both versions will be lesser for it. It is virtually unavoidable.

Lei, if you don't care about getting around to them then I have no idea why we're having this discussion. I wouldn't be buying any games I didn't care about playing....

  9. Hello "DigitalAssassin" A tough decision... :)

Please don't be mad / angry at me as it was never my intention to be mean / rude to you because the last thing that I want to do is be mean / rude to anyone. Please forgive me...

I was just clarifying what a " Low Priority " game is.

  10. ^I'm not angry, I'm just saying, if you don't actually care about playing them, then there's no point in me adding further to this conversation.
