Hello everyone A tough decision... :)

    ..........

First and foremost, the Xbox One is a year old now A tough decision... :)

    ..........

The Xbox 360 is my favorite console ever A tough decision... :)

    ..........

I am all for supporting the Xbox 360, but do you think that Xbox One games are being held back because developers want to make the games for the Xbox 360 too? When will the developers focus their resources on the Xbox One only?

    ..........

I do believe that making a game for the Xbox One while keeping the Xbox 360 version in mind is indeed holding back the Xbox One versions due to the fact that

" developers want to ensure that gamers will enjoy the same experience regardless of what console they're using. "

Here is the problem with this...

    (1) Content will not be added to the Xbox One version because the Xbox 360 version can't handle it.

    (2) Graphics will not be optimized for the Xbox One version so that the Xbox 360 version can handle it.

    (3) Developers can't focus on the Xbox One version because they are working on the Xbox 360 version at the same time.

    ..........

Personally, I love the fact that the Xbox 360 is getting versions of the new games too; but the " Primary Developers " should focus on the Xbox One versions and a completely different group (" Secondary Developer ") will do their best to translate the Xbox
One version into the Xbox 360 version.

The " Primary Developers " will optimize the game for the Xbox One without having to worry about whether or not the Xbox 360 can handle it.

The " Secondary Developers " will then take the Xbox One version and down grade it to the Xbox 360 after the Xbox One version is completed. In terms of release dates, the Xbox 360 version would be released six to eight months after the Xbox One version
    comes out.

    ..........

With that being said, I might consider picking-up the following games for the Xbox 360 when they hit the bargain bin in the future...

    (1) Alien Isolation

    (2) The Evil Within

    (3) Dragon Age Inquisition

    ..........

Have a nice day or afternoon or night everyone A tough decision... :)

    :)

    Tough Decision Between Looks

@KaMooseKazi People do actually RP in single player games. I know it might seem weird and all but having the right outfit, weapons and perk setup make it alot more enjoyable to some people ^.^

@Blue and Jameser Took your advice going with Dragonbone and Daedric. I went with the Dragonbone Chest with the Daedric Gauntlets and Boots with the Daedric Bow and Dragonbone Greatsword. It actually looks really good. Shocked me a little.

    =====

The Daedric Bow is enchanted with 9 second Soul Capture. From an RP perspective the Daedric Bow will take the souls of those who are evil. She wears the Daedric Gloves to aid in the control of the bow since it is imbued with the many souls of the Daedra
she's extinguished. The Daedric Boots are pretty much just to compliment the gloves and the Dragonbone Chest is to aid in her protection and to show she is Dragon Born.

    =====

Really love the comments and the assistance. Thanks all ^.^

Also gonna add armor choices. For the character type I posted, the Crossbow/Bow with a Two Hander Demon Hunter, would the Dragonbone armor feel more like the kind of armor that would suit the style of RP or would sticking with Ebony Armor, Daedric Gloves,
Daedric Boots and the Dark Brotherhood Cowl Maskless seem the better fit? Another thing that is driving me batty atm ._. Also suggestions for a hood to go with the Dragonbone Armor would help. Really trying to stick to an Archer like helm.

    A tough decision...

I think it is holding them back, but really only in regards to graphics and the size of the game. Still, the games can be good if they're made for both generations, but not fully optimized for current gen.

Games like The Witcher 3 and Dying Light are only for current gen. Eventually the 360 and PS3 won't be able to handle some of the games like TW3. When that starts to happen on a more frequent basis is when I believe they will focus more on current gen.

People will come here and say that consoles are holding PC's back, but I totally disagree. Here is a good article

How the PS4 and Xbox ONE have raised PC system requirements.

  6. Yeah, I'm saying bye to my 360 this holiday season. Well, not really saying bye because it will still be connected and in use, it just won't be my main console. It's still a great machine, so it's not going anywhere for a long time, even if I just use
it for WMC or some old games.

Yeah, the 360 and PS3 are holding the new systems back. I won't get rid of my 360 even though rogue was probably my last purchase for it, it still has a lot of use for me.

In reality it varies between developers/publishers. In some cases, the d/p are actually creating their games for next-gen specifically and then, if they decide to also make their game for last-gen consoles, they will work their way down by removing certain
things or even handing the project off to someone else entirely.

Thinking that they're "holding back" is actually pretty one-sided (no offense)...

GG, I know what your saying, it still requires time and resources going to the last gen consoles though. We all know that devs are rushed by the publishers in most case's, so any time a dev has to concentrate on the 360/PS3 is valuable time that could of
    been spent on the X1.

  10. Actually how could it be a waste of resources?

If im not mistaken every single game with a new gen and last gen version has been made by two different developers under one publisher.so if this is true there is no way for it to hold anyone back, some of these games have even stated that certain things
wont be in their 360 versions cause it just would not could not get to work.

Same thing again. Doesn't matter how many people are working on all the different versions, it's still using up extra resources, time and money on multiple versions of a game. Obviously, if the extra time and money could go into fewer versions, we should
end up with a better, bigger, prettier game.

Why didn't Ubisoft make assassins creed unity for the 360 and PS3?

They go where the money is. And with the 360 still holding its own, even against the X. The smart move is to develope for both.

    Hello "Lei Fang DOAX3" A tough decision... :) =^_^=

I love the Xbox 360 too.

I love the Dashboard layout of it, the games, and since 80% of my friends are still stuck on it. Xbox 360 has brought me a lot of fun since I joined late 2010. I think Microsoft is going to at least support it until at least 2016. Zoo Tycoon there is no
Kinect features and no multiplayer in the 360 version due to 360's hardware limitations (512mb GDDR3 RAM compared to Xbox 1's 8GB of DDR3 RAM DDR3 is better than GDDR3). But if peps love Xbox 360 and last gen (7th gen consoles) then companies should keep support
    open for those consoles.

If you do do a graphics comparison between Xbox 360 and Xbox 1 games which are made for both, Xbox 1 will obviously have better graphics. Just compare Zoo Tycoon COD Ghosts and COD AW. Xbox 360 came out in 2005 right yet they didn't cut support for the very
first Xbox until 5 years after Xbox 360 came out (2010). This being the case, Microsoft shouldn't cut XBL support for Xbox 360 until the same duration 5 years after Xbox 1 launched (November 2013 - November 2018). Millions are still on Xbox 360, it's a great
platform, and Microsoft and Sony are right up there with gaming consoles. Game developers may focus on the systems which are highly popular. The reason why game devs may be holding back on Xbox 1 is because there is still way more peps on Xbox 360 and it's
still a popular system, so why not make it for them. But until Microsoft cuts the umbilical cord (XBL support) for 360, game devs can continue to make games for both systems. Xbox 360 can still do highly popular Xbox Live Features which Xbox 1 cant do, like
voice messaging, a UI less Windows-8-like and more youth friendlier, Xbox avatars not hiding in this "Avatar App" on Xbox 1. And Xbox Live Party works great and has a youth friendlier user interface compared to the UI with Xbox 1's UI which looks more like
for older peps who are over 30 years old.

Have a nice day afternoon or night A tough decision... :)

Support for the original Xbox was stopped almost straight away, they basically wrote it off without warning. Personally, I think next year will be about it for the 360... I could be wrong but it's just my opinion.
