After seemingly downloading the recent system update, I'm now getting this message when I turn on my console and try to sign in to Xbox Live. I've cleared the update using the LB RB X method in the storage menu, reset the console, the update has downloaded
again but when the console automatically restarts I'm getting the above message again

I've tried to put the update onto a disc and install it off that, but when I restart my console it automatically wants to download the update from xbox live, it won't run the disk

Any ideas???

Can not connect to Xbox live

Every time I try to log in to Xbox live I get this message "a system update is required to sign in to Xbox live, but the update is currently unavailable". I've been getting this message for 2 months now and idk what to do?

Sorry to hear about the update issues. I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps if you haven't already, to see if we can get this issue sorted.

Please give the following steps a try:

• First make sure that you have enough storage space to download the update. If you do not have enough free space, you need to remove or delete some items.
  
• Try Clearing your Xbox 360 system cache 3 times.
  
• If you are using an Xbox 360 Memory Unit or USB flash drive instead of a hard drive, remove and reinsert the memory unit or flash drive.
  
• If you have a hard drive, try removing and adding the hard drive again.
  
• Try updating your console again.
  

Give the suggested steps a try and let us know if you are still having issues updating your console.
