A strange problem with my Xbox one

I have a repeated problem it is happened recently and I can't find a solution after many searches , While I am playing Fifa18 suddenly the game stop and return to a screen of selecting a team by controller then I select the team again , then after few minutes
it happens again . I thought that the problem with the controller , I checked the batteries and try many times to reset the console and sync the controller but it doesn't work. I tried to go for setting/devices and accessories but I chocked when the console
turned off (every time I try to navigate to devices and accessories).

Actually, the factory reset helped me to navigate to devices and accessories option but the same problem still exist .I noticed that the controller flashing even I am not on a game ,Now I am quiet sure that the problem is with it but I am not sure it
is a hardware or a software issue.

If the power cycle doesn't help then I recommend trying a soft factory reset since the Xbox seems to be experiencing unusual things with at least two of your games. Make sure when doing the factory reset to select the option to keep my games and apps and
have your account login information available as you will need to re-add it during the reset set up. Here is a guide that will help you select the factory reset:
