    Hey All!!!!

Got my 360 E 4 gb version some days ago. I saw that there is no mic in the box. A small doubt about setting up my Mic for Xbox Live :( But anyway, I have a monitor BenQ GL 2450 with a HDMI input and 3.5 mm audio output for in-game audio.

Luckily, the jack is outputting in-game audio perfectly. I use a Sennheiser PC 31 headset (with 3.5mm audio and mic leads) The only thing I need now is to setup my microphone.

I did a little research and found that if I use a 2.5 (male) to 3.5 (female) connector like this one, Mobiles, Electronics, Fashion, Collectibles, Coupons and More | eBay
it will keep my Xbox Live voice "always on" (since there is no switch involved here).

Please tell me if this setup works.

Also please tell me if there is an option to mute my mic anywhere in xbox options.

    :)

  2. Anyone knows when a slim version is coming?

I doubt we will see an xbox one slim this year. It is highly likely we will get one by the fall of 2016 though. The Xbox One is really not that big. You must have a small entertainment set up.

  3. Setting Up A Room Mic?

Hi there. Just sharing that you may be able to use certain Mics so that everyone can talk but no one will be able to hear people talk back. There are a few exceptions where a particular game may allow chat to be heard in headphones and speakers.

By default when pluging in a headset...the chat comes through to the headset. So if you were to plug in a mic, the chat from others in your room may be heard by other gamers but no one at your home will hear other gamers.

All this assuming you're talking about using a mic with an Xbox stereo adapter.

The Kinect would be your best bet for this to work vs figuring out a mic
